What Katie did…

‘I have been passionate and dedicated to the performing arts since I was a tot. From the age of 3 I have been dancing, singing and acting (rather dramatically at times!) my way through life’. After many years of exams & performances as a student at Laine Theatre Arts, I rather successfully gained my National & Higher National Diplomas with Distinctions. Then, taking my Darling Mum’s very sound advice – “you must get your teaching qualification, this is a fickle and hard industry you’re entering”, as usual, she was right, I completed my teaching qualification in 1999, loved it so much, that’s what I’ve been doing ever since!

In 2006, while being a stay at home Mummy to Molly, I was able to become a freelance performing arts teacher, consultant and party entertainer. In 2008 I started teaching Pipsqueaks music classes, after school clubs, nursery sessions and parties.

Molly and Rory have grown up with Pipsqueaks – it is ‘the business that grows with your family!’

What Katie did next…

In 2011 I was given the very unique opportunity to buy the Pipsqueaks business and officially become ‘The Pipsqueaks Lady!’

Sharing my passion with others for a living has been the most incredible experience, I am very lucky to be doing what I love every day.
